wanderings

Here are some photos of my day to day life in Vienna, which has been such a happy, love-filled time for me so far.

A food market in Stadtpark. This is a giant version of the typical Austrian lebkuchen (gingerbread!). It's usually decorated and sold as gifts to be hung up...but we ate them.

A beautiful day for a food festival!

Got to have lunch with my oldest friend, so thankful she came to town for the day!

Having an Italian roommate means homemade eggplant parm lasagna.

Oberösterreich

Taylor and I had the chance to do a quick two day trip to Oberösterreich (Upper Austria- one of the nine states here), and it was absolutely amazing. Taylor's friend Martina studied at Capilano last semester and was kind enough to invite us to her home in her small town, as well as drive us around other towns in the area. Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Geboltskirchen (Martina's town) were the places we went to and had amazing, traditional Austrian experiences!

eMarketing help!

Hello all my lovelies!

I'm in an eMarketing class and we had to make a Youtube video or Twitter or blog and the goal was to make it go viral (obviously we can't all do that but, ya know!).

Anyways, my group made a video of our time in Vienna so far, and while it's more of a slideshow, we're pretty proud of it! If you could watch it and share with everyone you know (through Facebook, Twitter, whatever!) we'd love to get at least 250 views! It wasn't working on mobile platforms earlier, but it might be now. If not please watch it on your other computing devices!!

That's the link! All help is appreciated!

Lago di Garda & Verona pt II

Bonjourno. So on Sunday it was lovely weather and we decided to take the train 15 minutes outside of the city to Peschiera del Garda, which is a summer type town on Lago di Garda, the biggest lake in Italy (and totally gorgeous!). We had such an amazing time that I only got a handful of photos.

We went to Juliet's Balcony our first night there, and it was incredibly crowded. So we went again when it opened right before we left, and it was shockingly empty.

It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

Got me some boob-luck.
