In fair Verona...

Part deux of our weekend getaway leads us to all of the touristy things we were able to do in Verona!!
Beautiful Verona

You can't go to Italy and not have pizza!...three times...
The Gardino Giusti were absolutely stunning. They were a mass expanse of various greenery (shrubs and trees), with stone paths, fountains and lemon trees. There were originally designed as the backdrop for the Giusti palace at the end of the 15th Century.

Hard not to be happy in a place like this!

I would so recommend Verona to anyone travelling anywhere near Europe. A true Italian feel and isn't so touristy that you feel stressed out by everyone's presence.

Innsbruck

Been a while since I updated you guys because nothing of interest has happened...until this past weekend! The trip that's been planned since my first couple of weeks here- Verona and Innsbruck- has finally happened! I'll only post on Innsbruck tonight, but over the next couple of days I will post for Verona!

At the base of Nordkette, smiling down on Innsbruck!

Halfway up on Nordkette. Hiking trails turned ski trails in the winter!

My girls! We'll be recreating this pose in a couple months in Barcelona!

The hills are alive!

We went to Salzburg! A two and a half hour train ride away, it's one of the most surreal cities I've visited. It genuinely felt like we were in the middle of a movie set. There is no way people could just live their lives there, it is far too perfect! We had good weather and a great time, a solid 24 hours was spent there!

Salzburg, like Budapest, couldn't be captured in my photos. The mountains were so much more clear, and it was absolutely stunning. Wish you all could be here!

budapest & bratislava

So I will preface this by saying this is probably one of my favourite cities I have travelled to. There's this vibe that it has to it that I haven't experienced. It very well could have been the fact that the sun was actually shining- but I think there was a lot more to it. My photos, in no way, do the city the justice it deserves.

We only did a day trip to Bratislava, and it was freezing and raining, so there aren't many pictures. So I'll throw them in here, too! It was a nice city, I'm sure. There isn't a whole lot to do on a sunny day, so being there with the weather that we got wasn't exactly the greatest experience of it.

Bratislava

We had Slovakian beer!
