Krakow

So I had a lovely weekend trip to Krakow, Poland! It was amazing weather, and the city itself is just stunning. I am putting a lot more photos on this blog post because I loved them all so much.

Lulu's cafe

Our first breakfast spot- Milkbar.
Absolutely to die for.

Taylor's fruit and granola bowl

My scrambled eggs with tomatoes and cottage cheese

Seen in Old Town

Florian Gate

Alter at the church of St. Francis of Assisi

Old Town is outlined by a park!

Amazing Meditteranean food we stumbled upon!

Patio at Hamsa

"Place of meditation upon the martyrdom
of 65 thousand Polish citizens of Jewish
nationality from Cracow and it's environs
killed by the Nazis during World War II."

Jewish cemetery

Corpus Christi Basilica

The massive organs at Corpus Christi Basilica

A megaphone with a bell carved with Catholic symbolism,
the masses staring up intently. Shortly after this was commissioned
someone spray painted 'never follow' on one of the peoples heads,
turning it from a painting of religious nature to an anti-authoritarian one.

Memorial of the chairs left behind by Jewish families getting sent off to gas chambers.
Golden Dome of Wawel Cathedral

Beautiful flowers

View of the river from Wawel Hill
The patio at Trufla, our new favourite restaurant

I took photos of all of the food.

Grilled Chicken with a lemon/garlic sauce

The most amazing side salad I've ever been privileged to eat.

The market in the Old Town center

St. Mary's Basilica at night

Fresh lemonade to end an absolutely wonderful trip!

If you get the chance, I would 100% recommend going to Krakow. It was absolutely gorgeous and completely took me by surprise. The great weather, amazing food and the lovely locals made this trip such an amazing experience.
