thats it.
its rainy and gross here.
we're going to vienna tomorrow night...
k love you bye.
Funny, to go so far to seek what was so near (English Speaking Movies). Have you guys learned to speak any Italian or French. Have you figured out how to get around the labour unrest in France. Apparently the unions have shut down the refineries and blocked the delivery of gas and diesle fuel. Are the trains running when you return to France?
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite, under-rated Billy Joel songs is about feeling restless. It's called "Vienna Waits for You". Here are a few lyrics: "Slow down, you crazy child
ReplyDeleteand take the phone off the hook and disappear for awhile
it's all right, you can afford to lose a day or two
When will you realize,..Vienna waits for you?" Hang in there Tay! A crappy day in Florence is still an adventure! Martin
is that a real song??
ReplyDeletebecause that is absolutely perfect for how i feel right now.
Soo.. you're in Florence Italy and the funnest thing you can tell me you did is watch a movie in English.. I am sorry Taylor but this post is not up to par... But I still love you!!! I hope today is more exciting, and check david out for me will yah ;)
ReplyDeleteMISS YOU!
phoebs
Hi Taylor...I know Uncle Martin means well with his words of wisdom. However I am reminded of a equally good Billy Joel tune that might be more in order for your current mental situation. the lyrics go like this...." a bottle of red..a bottle of white...drink them both and you'll feel alright"...or something to that effect :):) Anyway keep your chin up and your smile large ...vienna does wait for you. Love Dad & Mom
ReplyDeleteoh yeah....by the way its rainy and gross here as well :( D & M
ReplyDeleteWhen you get back, read "The Birth of Venus". You'll wish you were back in Florence to explore it better!
