april fool's...

Well, now today sure was a very interesting day. So at work today, Jake got into a minor car accident (minor meaning that nobody was hurt, but his car sure was). Thank goodness that there was a witness who was all 'nuh uh, ain't your fault' and Jake was all 'thanks man'. So yeah, we'll see how that goes, it should be interesting. Also what happened today. I went to the bank to get coin, and on my way back I see two guys running around a corner with envelopes in their hands. I thought to myself 'Aw, thats cute, they're racing to Monashee's to go apply for a job!'. When I got back to the theater, Ed asked me if I had left anything behind the counter. I said that I had left the tips there, because I had been splitting up the tips ($83.48) for Zach, Caitlin and I. Well, it turns out those guys who were running had come in to drop off a resume, and then Ed went to give the resume to Jake. When he looked back down to the lobby, the two guys were booking it out of the theater. They had stolen $49.36 worth of tips. It was just ridiculous. We did call a cop, and he came in, and was a very nice guy. And the best part? The guy had left a real resume...with his real name and number on it. I feel like it should be on a 'Dumb Crooks' type thing. I went to tell Caitlin, and she just assumed that it was an April Fool's day joke. It very obviously wasn't. Blechh.
Also, I went to the grocery store, and it turns out Chelsea had been having a bad day, too, and was sick, so that stank for her. And another one of my friends boyfriends said they should take a break, because they'd been fighting so much. So all around, not a positive day for anyone. Quite a shame, but there's a reason for everything!
So, that seemed to be my day.
As well, I have completely paid off my flights to New York and San Francisco, and we have our San Francisco accommodations booked. All we need to book now is our New York accommodations, and budget out the rest of the trip to see what we need. I'm super pumped, and I'm sure everything's going to be so great.
